New Release Sunday At Digi Stamps 4 Joy

Well it is Sunday once more, were does the time go. At Digi Stamps 4 Joy it is new release Sunday.Margy the shop owner has designed 4 new digital stamps. She never fails to impress with such elegant classy and craft-able designs. I was so lucky given the chance to make a card with the vintage Austin design. There is a great story behind this. Margy's dad restored this card from a decapitated falling to bits piece of junk to a beautiful car.
Materials used
Digital stamp Dads Austin by Digi Stamps 4 Joy
7" x 10" Black card blank
Black, Gold mirri and Gold satin solid card stock
Printable acetate
Gold and black embossing powder
Gold gilding flakes
A4 sheet os double sided sticky
Sentiment by Nicki at Stamping all day.
Method
I printed the car image on printable acetate. Once it was out of the printer i used Melt Dust by MCS and heat embossed. The ink would not have dried if i had not embossed or hear set.I then put a sheet of double sided sticky on the reverse. I then applied gilding flakes. This was my first attempted at gilding and i am quite pleased. Can not say the same of my cats as they are very sparkly,

Simply Create too. They are on challenge #56. The theme is use your stash. I got the gilding flakes free with a craft magazine months ago. I was looking for the right image to use it on.

This card has not photographed well. We have had nothing but rain for day, so not much natural light. Crafty hugs Julie Ann.
